THE DOORS Live At The Matrix (Official 2008 US DMC/Rhino 24-track 2 x CD-R acetate album set - recorded on 7th & 10th March 1967 at The Matrix, a small San Francisco nightclub owned by Marty Balin [Jefferson Airplane]. The place was nearly emptyon both nights, so Jim Morrison, John Densmore, Robby Krieger & Ray Manzarek took a rare opportunity to improvise and experiment. 'Live At The Matrix', which has been widely bootlegged but now restored, meticulously mastered [from first-generation tapes] and officiallly issued, presents over two hours of music from these fabled performances.
