AFRIKA BAMBAATAA & SOULSONIC FORCE Planet Rock: The Album (2008 US issue limited edition LP pressed on 180gram VINYL, originally issued in 1986 and featuring a collection of 12" releases dating back to '82 the year that the absolute, stoneclassic, 'Planet Rock' was released regarded as of the most important singles in the history of hip-hop, incorporating elements of Kraftwerk’s 'Trans Europe Express' and is the first documented use of an 808 drum machine in hip-hop/R&B. The rest of the record is no slouch either, including the classic single 'Searching For The Perfect Beat' and collaborations with Melle Mel and D.C.’s Trouble Fun, presented in a sealed and stickered thick card picture sleeve)
