Through The Past, Darkly - Box + Obis

ROLLING STONES Through The Past, Darkly (Very rare and strictly limited edition 2008 Japanese only picture box designed to house the Japanese SHMCD issues of their albums in mini LP-style picture sleeves. This box was a 'Disk Union' exclusive & was only available through their stores in Japan. In order to receive these special boxes, Japanese fans had to pre-order the albums and return with their proof-of-purchase coupon once they were officially released. The box itself is a gorgeoushigh quality silk laminated octagonal picture box, approximately 12½" in diameter & four inches deep, with the album artwork top & bottom. Inside is a set of seven special 'Not For Sale' obi-strips for the Japanese versions of the album releases with 'Disk Union' logo on the back. Given that the SHM CD issues themselves were limited to just 5000 copies, this subset becomes one of the hardest to find Stones rarities from 2008 & is destined to be one of THE future Stones 'Holy Grail' items - This one is in MINT condition!)
