SUN DIAL Return Journey - The Complete Second Album Sessions (2010 issue UK 27-track 2-CD album set - Following their 1990 debut, 'Other Way Out', Sun Dial set about recording a follow-up at legendary producer Vic Keary's studios in Chalk Farm, London. The band had now signed with the UFO label but the sessions for 'Return Journey' were abandoned. A 12" EP, 'Overspill', was all that was salvaged for release on UFO. Thereafter, Sun Dial reconvened to record what would become their second album, 'Reflecter', leaving 'Return Journey' in the vaults until a belated reissue on Acme in 1994. This deluxe 2010 edition of 'Return Journey' is the definitive version, remastered from the original, recently re-discovered tapes. CD 1 offers the album as it was originally conceived with the bonus of the four 'Overspill' tracks and two out-takes. CD 2 boasts alternative versions and mixes from those sessions!)
