DORIS TROY Doris Troy (2010 UK Stereo issue limited edition 19-track CD album digitally remastered by a dedicated engineering team at the world famous Abbey Road studios - Doris Troy came into Apple via Billy Preston and like Billy and Jackie Lomax, she had a keen supporter in George Harrison. George produced and co-wrote with her, Doris's debut Apple single 'Ain't That Cute' first released in February 1970. A second single 'Jacob's Ladder' this time produced by Doris followed in August that year before her album was released in the following month. She had some friends around her including George, Ringo, Klaus Voormann, Jackie Lomax and Stephen Stills and this album is still an absolute gem. All the Bonus Recordings that appeared on the previous CD release are retained, with the addition of an alternate mix of 'All That I've Got [I Am Gonna Give It To You]'.
