TRUMAN THOMAS Groovin' (Scarce 1968 Dutch issue 10-track stereo LP, Truman's lone effort as solo organist, cut when he was still in his teens. Includes soulful and funky versions of Cold Sweat and Funky Broadway, both with drum breaks. Truman wasJackie Wilson's organist of choice throughout the sixties and seventies and later went on to work with Aretha Franklin, Isley Brothers and King Curtis. The front laminated flipback sleeve has some edge wear but is otherwise very good. The vinyl is clean and shows only the lightest signs of play MUAS-3140)
