VILAYAT KHAN & BISMILLAH KHAN with SHANTA PRASAD Duets (1967 UK 3-track stereo LP by one of the world's leading Sitar masters, accompanied by the equally world class master of the Shehnai, with Tabla accompaniment by Shanta Prasad. The Ragas performed include the side long 16 beat Duetto [Jugalbandi], the folk tune Chait-Dhun in eight & the shorter Teental 16 beat rhythmic Bhairavee-Thumree. The front laminated flipback pictures sleeve shows a little light wear with some minor discolouration to the unlaminated back, but the vinyl remain in excellent condition with little sign of play. A nice copy of this very hard to find album ASD2295)
