GRANT GREEN Grantstand (Rare original 1961 US 4-track mono vinyl LP on Blue Note with New York USA address label & 'RVG' stampers & 'ear' markings in the run-outs, housed in the first issue pasted laminate sleeve with '43 West 61st St.'address on the back. This one has really stood the test of time & features Grant adding a touch of funk to his jazz, alongside brilliant performances by Yusef Lateef [tenor sax & flute], Jack McDuff [organ] & Al Harewood [drums]. Condition :-

The heavy duty sleeve is clean both sides with tight laminate & all print clearly legible including along the spine. There are a few spots of chipping to the laminate at the edges but nothing too severe. There are a few light blemishes on the back including some tape residue & a previous owner's name penned neatly in the corner [with purchase date & location], none of which upsets the print & is commensurate with age. The sleeve is a very healthy VG+ example.

The heavyweight vinyl is in JAW-DROPPING condition. Clean as a whistle with only the very lightest signs of play, the playback quality is immense & there are no scratches whatsoever. This is a beautiful, one-previous owner copy with the vinyl in near mint condition. Highly recommended, indeed!
