JIMMY DALEY AND THE DING-A-LINGS Rock, Pretty Baby (Extremely rare 1957 UK 7" vinyl single with intact original triangular centre, also including Can I Steal A Little Love, Brunswick company die cut paper sleeve. Both songs were taken from thefilm 'Rock Pretty Baby' that was released the previous year. As a slice of rare Rock & Roll, it holds its own against its peers, owing perhaps more to Gene Vincent than Elvis. Condition wise, this copy doesn't look pretty and shows many surface scuffs, so we ended up having to playtest both sides. During play, there are no annoying clicks and background noise was surprisingly kept at a minimum, certainly nothing that would greatly spoil enjoyment. Visually, you would think G/G+, but this actually plays to a nice VG level. Fifties vinyl was obviously tough enough to stand up to a Rock 'n' Roll lifestyle!)
