Sticky Fingers - 'PAN' - German Sleeve - EX

ROLLING STONES Sticky Fingers (Rare 1971 UK issue 10-track LP, with 'Rolling Stones Records' etched into the run-out and has 'A PROMOTONE N.V. RECORD' on the labels, housed in the first issue top-opening & fully working bronze finish 'zipper' sleeve designed by Andy Warhol, clearly with 'Printed in Germany' at the bottom of the spine, complete with illustrated/tongue logo insert. This copy has the withdrawn large front zipper, engraved with the elusive 'PAN', swiftly replaced with smaller zips for all subsequent pressings. The sleeve shows light creasing along the top edge, plus a little general storage wear. The insert shows little of its age and the vinyl has a few minor surface scuffs but displays no major deterioration in sound quality. An excellent example of this Stones rarity. One for the completist! COC59100)
