PETER COOK The Misty Mr. Wisty (1965 UK 14-track mono LP featuring his sketches from the ATV programme 'On The Braden Beat' as his wonderful E.L. Wisty alter ego, front laminated picture sleeve. Peter Cook started life in Torquay, nearly became a Soldier, nearly became a Civil Servant, but instead finally ended up being probably the funniest man on planet Earth for a decade or so, when forced to steer away from the barrack room humour that he seemed to delight in during the late seventies. The sleeve displays minimal shelfwear & the vinyl has little sign of play LK4722)
