PINK FLOYD The Pink Floyd In Concert (Mega rare 1969 UK 20 page black & white concert programme for dates between 16th May through to the 26th June 1969, an astonishing discovery that we have never seen before in all our time buying & sellingFloyd memorabilia. These were made for a series of psychedelic/avant-garde style concerts. Pressed on medium glossy paper & printed at The Ranelagh Press, it features UNIQUE & EXCLUSIVE Nick Mason & Hipgnosis artwork throughout & a stunning centrespread entitled 'The Man' & 'The Journey', with a track list for two unreleased album length suites of music performed by Floyd. Many of the sections of the performance were highly experimental & involved the band being served tea on stage plus the sawing & construction of a table! The tour dates are printed with a 'Bryan Morrison Agency, Ltd.' address, six individual band member pictures, adverts for Musicland, John Peel, IT & WEM, along with an EMI advert advertising The Piper at the Gates of Dawn, A Saucerful of Secrets & Point Me at the Sky, with photographs credited to Hipgnosis & a couple of pages of amazing & never-before-seen psychedelic sketches by Nick Mason, with a distinct Relics album artwork style. The pictures appear to reference the band's Royal Festival Hall performance in April '69 titled 'The Massed Gadgets of Auximines - More Furious Madness from Pink Floyd'. Add some more counter-cultural period adverts from 'International Times', 'Watkins P.A. Systems Hire' & the legendary 'Musicland' record shop stating 'Our range of imports is too much to mention!' & you've got not only a beautiful & historic piece for the Floyd collector but a fine document of the British sixties underground too [just check the support names!]. We are unlikely to EVER see a copy of this one again. The condition is well & truly magnificent. The cover shows merely the lightest signs of its vintage with no writing or tears [tiny spot of discolouring] & worthy of the best Floyd collection going. An incredible archive piece, we love this!)
