PINK FLOYD The Endless River (Impossibly Rare Withdrawn 2014 Japanese promotional kit for the group's final studio release. Included here is a sample stamped edition of the US import Deluxe CD/Blu-ray set comprising an 18-track CD album& an NTSC 9-track audio-visual Blu-ray disc with the usual 24-page deluxe hardback booklet & three collectors' postcards including Martin Klimas' lenticular design, all housed in a promo stickered 6½" x 5½" picture box. Also included is the first designed version of the Japanese manufactured promotional CD-R [SDCI-81720] for the Louder Than Words single, featuring the 4:39 Radio Edit & 6:36 Album Version. Housed in a slimline jewel case with unique picture inlay advertising the album's release in Japanese on the back, the disc is custom printed slightly differently to any other version in that it appears more like a 1-track issue design, but does indeed play both tracks. The first design 13-page Japanese press release is also included, & helps explain why this early promo pack was withdrawn & swiftly re-printed by Sony [the pr sheets & the CDR]; the '14.11.12' release date print found here on the first sheet was abandoned in favour of a '14.11.19' release date. You pretty much had to be working with Sony Music Japan International during that one week in order to get one of these!)
