GRATEFUL DEAD Workingman's Dead (Mega rare 1971 Japanese white Warner Bros title label 8-track promo sample LP pressed on 'Everclean' Red Vinyl, by Toshiba Musical Industry. This was issued to reviewers ahead of the actual release date which never acually happened, with a unique back pasted picture sleeve with the back upside down and with an envelope style poly lined die-cut inner. The sleeve has just a little light wear mostly to the edges whilstthe vinyl remains in a fantastic condition with no signs of play. A stunning example and the first we have ever seen BP-80022)

This album was released at a transitional period for the record company, at the time the Warner Brothers catalog was being acquired or merging with Pioneer in Japan.

Although there is a black vinyl pressing, this edition was never officially released on red wax. making this a very hard to find pressing.
