Glad Rag Ball + Ticket Stub

ROLLING STONES Glad Rag Ball (Impossibly rare 1964 UK tour programme for the event at the Empire Pool, Wembley on 20th-21st November, presented by London Students Carnival Limited. The event featured a line-up including The Animals, Pretty Things, Gene Vincent, Long John Baldry and Cliff Bennett & The Rebel Rousers amongst others. The Rolling Stones stamp their authority on the programme by being the only act to merit a double page spread, with one page showing a fantastic black &white stage graphic and a page giving a biography of each band member and a short history of the band's rise to fame. The programme measures 8" x 10" with a nice guitar picture cover. Obtained from its one previous owner who attended the event in '64 & left it under lock & key ever since, storing it complete with the very rare ticket stub for the November 20th show! The programme has a few light areas of discolouration & a light horizontal crease through the middle as it was stored during the show and has a 4" tear to the reverse, with nothing missing and all pages secure. The ticket has several creases through it & is free from tears & the text is clear and legible. An amazing collector's item!)
