VELVET UNDERGROUND The Velvet Underground & Nico (2003 US limited edition 11-track LP pressed on HIGH DEFINITION 180 Gram PREMIUM VIRGIN VINYL; released in March 1967, this has become one of the most influential and important LPs in thehistory of rock music - now at last, for the first time on vinyl since its original release over 40 years ago, the MONO mix is again available! This was the mix approved by the band and is clearly superior to the stereo version, with amore upfront and direct assault on the senses - compressed, dirty and violent; this is how this legendary recording was meant to be heard; gatefold pictutre sleeve with replica 'torso' image on the back [only available on 1st pressings, and subsequently airbrushed out by MGM]. The sleeve displays only light wear and the vinyl has only light signs of play V5008)
