BABY HUEY The Living Legend (1999 UK remastered 9-track Heavyweight Vinyl issue of the 1971 LP by the larger than life Huey, aka James Ramey [not to be confused with Claude Huey]. Produced by Curtis Mayfield, this cult classic contains a staggering nine minute version of 'A Change Is Going To Come' [with freestyle monologue in the middle that beggar's belief], the heavily sampled 'Hard Times' [A Tribe Called Quest, Ghostface Killah] plus the heavy grooves of the Mayfield tunes 'Running' & 'Mighty Mighty' [including a previously unreleased Part 2]. The gatefold picture sleeve shows some minor shelf wear & the vinyl is clean & grades VG+/EX- with some paper scuffs not affecting play. Essential psychedelic soul NEMLP405)
