THE GREAT SOCIETY How It Was (1968 US 8-track vinyl LP on the 'two eyes 360 sound' Columbia label, released in 1968 [but recorded in September 1966] to capitalise on the enormous success of Jefferson Airplane, these early recordings show whatan incredible band the Great Society were, and how important they were in the history of the 'Sound Of San Francisco' in the mid to late 60s, acting largely as a vehicle for Grace Slick's prodigious talents, pasted picture sleeve. The sleeve carries light general wear, whilst the vinyl is Excellent with just a few mild scuffs to indicate play CS9702)
