Sings The Blues

NINA SIMONE Sings The Blues (1970s US issue of the 1967 11-track stereo LP on the orange RCA Victor label, featuring a classy small backing band including guitarist Eric Gale and Bernard Purdie on drums. This is blues sung with deep soul, highlighted in her stunning take of 'The House Of The Rising Sun'. The pasted heavy card sleeve has a small scuff in the top of the spine but is otherwise in superb condition with all print clearly legible. The vinyl is clean with just some light spindle marks to indicate play - a very nice example! LSP-3789)
