BLACK STAR MUSIC CLUB Nilikupenda (Incredibly rare 1970s
West African 7" vinyl single with three-prong centre, includes
Pili Pili, Philips company die-cut sleeve. This is a slice of
Taarab goodness, which is hitherto unrecorded on the
Internet, possibly from 1974 or thereabouts from an
annotation to sleeve. This copy was brought to the UK and has
lain unplayed ever since in a sprawling collection; the vinyl
appears barely played with just a few light marks, possibly
due to the climate of its home country or possibly from the
paper sleeve it has been stored in, it does however still
produce a fantastic playback! HL7-210)
