GOMORRHA I Turned To See Whose Voice It Was (Rare 1972
German first press 6-track LP on a green & black Brain label,
produced by Conny Plank - expect to be bowled over with
some killer Hard Rock/Proto-Prog by one of Germany's best
kept secretsof the early seventies, their swansong as a band.
Opens with the heavy Led-Zep like 'Dance On A Volcano', the
whole album comes packed with head-melting guitar jams &
celestial organ work with freakout lyrics, in other words
essential! Comeshoused in the original non-laminated
gatefold picture sleeve. The cover [VG] shows some stress
marks & scuffing with minor creasing from ring wear. There
are no seam splits or writing & all text is clear. The vinyl
grades VG & playback is higher. There is a small scratch right
at the beginning of the title track, causing some soft clicks on
rotation but otherwise playback is mostly Excellent, with
some light background surface on occasion. Recommended
and at a great price!)
