JOHN MARTYN London Conversation (Very rare 1967 UK first
issue 12-track MONO LP on the rough textured pink 'eye' label,
front laminated picture sleeve. Recorded when he was just
eighteen and largely self penned, it was a stunning debut. This
copy shows just light shelfwear with a bit of laminite creasing in
places and minimal discolouration to the unlaminated back, but
nothing much to write home about. The labels are both really
clean with just a few light spindle marks. The vinyl isbeautiful
with no obvious signs of play to show for its fifty years, we have
play tested and can confirm it has no effect on play. It is
rumoured that they only pressed a mere five hundred of these. A
must own from the much missed Troubadour ILP-952)

JOHN MARTYN London Conversation (1967 UK first press
12-track MONO LP on the rough textured pink Island label with
circular orange & black 'eye' logo, the stunning debut album
by the then-eighteen year old, front laminated flipback
picture sleeve. The cover has a 2" seam split at the spine,
moderate creasing and discolouration to the unlaminated

grades VG with a number of hairline scuffs & the odd tiny
scratch yet playback reveals no great loss in fidelity, & there
