ROY HARPER Male Chauvinist Pig Blues (Very rare 1974 UK single sided 7" metal based high quality methyl cellulose lacquer acetate containing what appears to be a stereo Demo version of what finally ended up as track two of 'Valentine'. The drums are noticably subdued & the tempo slower, there are slide guitar parts evident and a saxophone part, along with a different vocal line & backing guitars. This amazing disc comes simply with a hand annotated Abbey Road EMI Studios label with 45RPM speed, 3:37 running time & RS29 number. The title & Roy's name appear to be in a very familiar handwriting, but we have no way of confirming this. This acetate itself remains in excellent condition, free from any but the lightest surface scuffs & plays through without fault or any clicks & pops.
