SHIRLEY COLLINS Sweet England (Rare original 1959 UK 18-track vinyl LP on the deep groove blue & silver Argo label. Classic collection of British folk songs recorded by Alan Lomax and Peter Kennedy in Peter Kennedy's house in London, in 1958 in a two-day session, the same session in fact that produced the legendary False True Lovers long player. Housed in a fully laminated flipback picture sleeve with the poly lined company inner. The sleeve displays some minor general wear with some edge & corner wear, and has some light creases and laminate lift. The labels are very clean with just a couple of very light marks around the spindle hole to show only light signs of play, and apart from a couple of very light cosmetic hairlines & scuff marks, the vinyl shows very light signs of play with very little lessening in sound quality.
