THE FRUIT MACHINE I'm Alone Today (Rare 1969 UK 7" vinyl single with its intact 4-prong centre - Fantastic [but little known] late '60s '45 that featured Steve Gould who would later join Rare Bird on vocals and guitar. The self-penned title track is a tasty psych flavoured number with some impressively aggressive guitar work throughout, the B-Side is a cover of the Cream song in a more freaky blues rock style - really great single that deserves to be better known. Issued in a die-cut paper sleeve, there are some scuffs and hairlines visible on both sides so we would grade this VG/VG-, playback reveals no great loss of fidelity and it sounds great - highly recommended SRL.1027) more...
