THE GAME The Addicted Man (Wow! Super rare slice of vintage 1966
UK 'freakbeat' on the green & white Parlophone 'A' label demonstration
vinyl 7" for the single release, with 4-prong push-out round centre
intact and dated 06.01.67. This was the third single by the band [who,
incredibly, were all still in their teens at the time of recording], what do
you get? The A-side is a blistering, raw, guitar driven monster that was
promptly withdrawn from sale after famously being given a 'MISS'on
the BBC's 'Juke Box Jury'. Also features the equally unhinged Help Me
Mummy's Gone. With some light scuffs/hairlines visible the vinyl is
strictly graded VG, but thanks to the nature of high-quality '60s
pressings, we are pleased to say it plays well with no real impact on
play. Both sides of this highly sought after '45 [we've never had one
before!] have been on countless 'freakbeat/psyche' compilations, now
here's your chance to own the original!
