THE WHO Live At Leeds (Rare 1970 UK first press 6-track LP
with machine stamped A1/B1 matrices, recorded live at Leeds
University on February 14th 1970, housed in the original
gatefold 'bootleg' style stapled pocket sleeve with BLACK text on
the front & complete with all twelve inserts including photos &
repro band letters, receipts & lyrics. This copy comes with the
early variant of the poster which has 'Tuesdays at the Marquee'
text along the bottom [apparently limited to 300 copies], as
compared to later issues which have 'Live At Leeds' text. The
'bootleg' style sleeve is Very Good & shows a bit of light
discolouring & natural ageing around the edges & the staples
remain untarnished with no writing. The poster remains unused
& the original '0870' dated poly-lined inner completes the
package. The vinyl is clean & grades VG+ with some light spindle
marks & paper hairlines not affecting the sound. Playback reveals
a killer band at their peak playing Led Zep at their own game!
Although not mint, this is still a nice complete example of the
very first pressing & increasingly in demand) #Top 500 Greatest Albums Of All Time
