THE WHO I'm A Boy (Extremely Rare 1967 Japanese-only 12-track
stereo vinyl LP compilation manufactured by Nippon Grammophon,
housed in a unique silk picture sleeve with scalloped flipbacks, English
lyric insert & album notes exclusively in Japanese. The cover remains in
Excellent condition with clean panels & mild ring wear. The colours are
striking and it's a wonderful picture that was used, with Keith Moon
positioned up close [in his 'Jesus Lives' t-shirt!] mid performance with
the group. There is no writing or tears & just a couple of small marks
to the paper around the edge. There are a few circles around the
numbers on the insert from the use of a pen, unobtrusive to the print.
The vinyl grades VG/VG+ and shows faint wear to the grooves with
some mild paper hairlines & multiple spindle marks around the centre
hole; the sound quality is high during playback, although a little
background surface is detectable. Now a prize record for The Who
collector! SLPM-1354)
