VARIOUS-PUNK & NEW WAVE Sniffin' Glue (An original copy of the twelfth [and final] issue of the legendary 1977 UK punk fanzine founded by Mark Perry. Published "around Aug/Sept '77" [it's punk innit, it came out when it came out!] with articles on Sham 69, Chiswick Records, Generation X, John Cale, iconic grainy pics from Jill Furmanosvsky, opinion pieces from Mark P, Danny Baker, Kris Needs and some brilliant 'time capsule' adverts; [Rough Trade "Now trading in the best reggae records", The Dictators, Television, Bizarre Records Distribution and more]. The fanzine is A4 sized and includes 28 pages, this copy also still includes the free flexi disc by Mark Perry's Alternative T.V. [the punk classic Love Lies Limp no less] attached to each issue. VARIOUS 100 Nights At The Roxy (Rare original 1978 UK 98-page softback book compiled by Ralf Jedraszczyk, Andrew Czezowksi and Barry Jones. A photographic explosion of images from the Roxy Club in London WC2 which opened exclusively for Punk Rock bands on 1st January 1977. It was situated in a converted warehouse off Covent Garden market, that had been used by the vegetable market. It had a bar upstairs and stage in the basement. Every punk band of any worth [and many that weren’t] performed here. The book features black & white photos of The Clash, The Heartbreakers, The Damned, Siouxsie & the Banshees, Generation X, The Buzzcocks, X-Ray Spex, and many more. Also includes an 8-page colour section and colour montage picture cover. This item was acquired from a former NME journalist and has been kept in wonderful condition. The cover has just slight crease in the bottom right corner, whilst the delicate and fragile binding is intact and the inner pages are near as new.
