JEFFERSON AIRPLANE Surrealistic Pillow (1967 UK first press 11-track
deep groove mono LP on the black 'red spot' RCA Victor label, the
group's first British album release with a different track listing to later
issues. This is a well loved copy yet the picture sleeve still retains nice
& tight laminate & there is just a little minor edge wear & the odd
patch of light discolouring on the back not upsetting the print. The
vinyl has been professionally cleaned. There is a deep sheen both
sides. Although there are obvious spindle marks on the labels & some
paper hairline scuffs to the vinyl, there are no blemishes that upset
the play & the disc performs higher than its initial VG/VG- grade. Still
very much a 'plastic fantastic' copy! See 'More Info' for further

JEFFERSON AIRPLANE Surrealistic Pillow (Rare 1967 UK
original 11-track MONO vinyl LP on the deep groove 'red spot'
RCA Victor label, their first UK LP, house in a front laminated
picture sleeve. This LP has a completely different track listing
to later issues. The sleeve shows only a little light creasing to
the spine, with light discolouration to the unlaminated reverse
with the spine remaining readable. The vinyl remains in
excellent condition with just a few light hairline marks visible
upon close inspection. A respectable copy at an advantageous

a black RCA label. The 'Nipper' logo both sides of the label has
been blacked out for export to other countries. The sleeve is
still in open shrink with the UK tax & British price stickers
attached. There is also an import sticker attached to the outer
shrink which has been annotated by the shop keeper. The
vinyl is Excellent with just a few light signs of play

Paper Sleeve Collection Series, comprising the album titles

After Bathing At Baxter's [BVCM-37626], Crown Of Creation
[BVCM-37627], Volunteers [BVCM-37628], Bless Its Pointed
Little Head [BVCM-37629], Bark [BVCM-37630], Long John
Silver [BVCM-37631] & Thirty Seconds Over Winterland
[BVCM-37632]. Each disc is housed in its mini-LP replica
picture sleeve [two are gatefold] with their obi-strips &
booklets, with each album housed in its clear resealable bag.
The attention to detail is superb, e.g. the Long John Silver
album replicates the original fold-out 'cigar box' sleeve & the
Bark album replicates the original 'grocery bag' design. The
set is expanded with THIRTY bonus tracks for the collector &
even includes an additional bonus mini-LP gatefold sleeve for
the unique psychedelic design exclusive to the Japanese 1968
vinyl release. This ultimate collector's set comes housed in a
very collectable glossy picture card box featuring the artwork
for the 'Surrealistic Pillow' album, with a slide out drawer.
This box was only available to Japanese customers who
purchased or pre ordered each album. This is the first time we

test pressing for the 1967 UK 11-track MONO LP,
never sold to the general public in this form & prior to any UK
release, with hand annotated custom green studio labels. The
tracklist runs in the same order that the album was first
released with ['My Best Friend' as the opener], which was
completely different to later issues. Produced in a miniscule
run purely to test the sonics or review, how many of these
have survived is uncertain, but they must be few & far
between. And for such a milestone record of the sixties
psychedelic rock era, this should make one lucky collector
