THE WHO Live At Leeds (Rare 1970 UK first press 6-track LP
with machine stamped A1/B1 matrices, recorded live at Leeds
University on February 14th 1970, housed in the original
gatefold 'bootleg' style stapled pocket sleeve with BLACK text
on the front & complete with all twelve inserts including
photos & repro band letters, receipts & lyrics. This copy
comes with the early variant of the poster which has
'Tuesdays at the Marquee' text along the bottom [apparently
limited to 300 copies], as compared to later issues which have
'Live At Leeds' text. The 'bootleg' style sleeve shows some
minor wear to the spine along along with a shop price sticker
mark in the top right corner and some residue marks along
the edges from some previous use of tape for reinforcement.
There is a hand written annotation of the catalogue number
on on the back of the sleeve and aside from a few odd light
inevitable corner creases, the inserts show minimal sign of
wear with the poster unused and the original poly-lined inner.
There is some spindle wear visible and one or two cosmetic
hairline paper marks on the vinyl, but otherwise grades an
easy Excellent, a really nice example of this super rare initial
pressing!) #Top 500 Greatest Albums Of All Time
