Tracklisting: For the first time, this new collection brings together the eight deluxe multi-CD box sets that were known as The Miles Davis Series. Each volume - seven of which have collectible “metal spines” - explored a major phase of the artist's development from 1955 to 1975. Each volume presented the music from various LPs, plus a wealth of previously unissued session material. The eight box sets, totalling 43 CDs of music, were originally released on Columbia/Legacy between 1996 and 2007, and won a total of eight Grammy Awards.
Several of the original box sets have sold out over the years, and have now been re-manufactured especially for this strictly limited-edition run of 2,000 copies.
Weighing in at 21 pounds and individually numbered, THE GENIUS OF MILES DAVIS is destined to be a treasure in the hands of true Miles Davis aficionados.

| STATUS QUO Picturesque Matchstickable Messages From The
Status Quo (Impossibly rare DEBUT album from one of the
world's best known rock bands, here in their first psychedelic
incarnation, which they were soon to discard in favour of their
morefamiliar sound as the album failed to chart and the
follow-up Spare Parts fared as badly. The acid-induced sound
makes some good use of phasing and psychedelic whimsy
vocals to give a very definite 1967-68 sound. The album
includes covers ofSpicks And Specks and Green Tambourine
as well as the original standout tracks Black Veils OF
Melancholy and Technicolor Dreams as well as the well known
Pictures Of Matchstick Men, front laminated flipback picture
sleeve. The sleeve shows just a little light creasing to the
laminate, whilst the unlaminated reverse still remains a nice
off-white & the text on the spine is clear and legible. The
labels shows just light spindlewear and the vinyl itself has a
smattering of light marks leaving it EX/EX- and a knockout
copy! NPL18220)
