 | JULY July (Ultra Rare 1968 UK 12-track MONO vinyl LP on the 'deep
groove' Major Minor label; this superb release went largely unnoticed
at the time, but is now held in the same high regard as Tomorrow,
Blossom Toes, The Koobas and many other luminaries of the UK 60s
psych scene, with awesome biting guitar, rich harmonies, sitar,
bongos, and above all, inventive songwriting, front laminated picture
sleeve. The sleeve has just a little laminate lift along the spine and a
few light laminate creases, but nothing to interfere with the rich
colours of the design; the reverse shows light ringwear with the text
all clear and the spine text also clear & legible. The vinyl has just a
few light marks picked up from years of storage in its original
poly-lined inner sleeve, with few actual signs of play other than a few
whispy spindle marks to the labels, leaving it graded as Excellent. A
superb example of this psych Holy Grail and the first we have seen!
