#Top 500 Greatest Albums Of All Timeollectables going!)
See 'More Info' for condition details ...

Tracklisting: Released on 31st March 1969, this was the world debut of Led Zeppelin. The very first UK issue had this Turquoise lettered sleeve. The rear picture is a degree more brown tinted than the later orange copies. There is a noticeable grey bar at the bottom of the front image which characterised the Polydor pressings and was removed when they changed to Warner distribution. The reverse of the sleeve has the 'Uptight An' Outasight' credit that was replaced with a Warner credit after the Polydor issues. The labels have 'Superhype' and 'Jewel Music' credits under the tracklisting (with the UNCORRECTED additional track 3) & the label design is the familiar plum & red design with black fan to the right, 'Made in Gt. Britain' at the top & 'Polydor Records Limited' at the bottom. More details on Condition: Sleeve The sleeve remains in VERY GOOD condition with some laminate creases/lift evident mainly on the front panel towards the opening edge area and spine. Also with light discolouration and shelfwear at edges. The front image is still very white and could easily be displayed. A great example of a very sought after sleeve. Vinyl The matrix numbers are 588171 A//1 & 588171 B//1 and are not scratched out as in later issues. The labels have some medium spindle wear on both sides. Condition: Vinyl Side One: There are some light hairlines plus minimal axial wear which has no impact on play. Overall graded Very Good. Side Two: There are some noticeable scuffs/marks across the mid section, throughout the beginning of How Many More Times - and pops can be heard. There are also some light/medium hairlines visible in places. We have graded this side Good due to these markings. However, the record has been professionally cleaned on both sides and on playback there is only very minor background noise in places and overall plays through without any major deterioration in sound quality, thanks to the superior quality of this pre-oil crisis pressing. All in all a very acceptable copy at a competitive price. Tracklisting 01. Good Times Bad Times 02. Babe I'm Gonna Leave You 03. You Shook Me 04. Dazed & Confused 05. Your Time Is Gonna Come 06. Black Mountain Side 07. Communication Breakdown 08. I Can't Quit You Baby 09. How Many More Times
