DEEP PURPLE Shades Of Deep Purple (Rare debut 1968 UK first issue 9-track stereo LP on the Parlophone black & yellow label with 'The Gramophone Co' perimeter text and without 'Sold In The UK' label text, front laminated Garrod & Lofthouse flipback picture sleeve. See 'more info' for condition details... PCS7055)

Hey Joe The labels are black with Parlophone logo in yellow and tracklisting in silver. The labels have the 'Gramophone Co' perimeter text & 'Sold In The UK' print. The matrix numbers are machine stamped into the dead wax thus: Side One YEX689-1 Side Two YEX690-1 Condition : - The front laminated picture sleeve is a deep shade of purple with '6809' dated Garrod & Lofthouse bottom flipback. The sleeve shows some minor wear with a little laminate creasing in places, the edges are free of scuffing and all flipbacks remain secure The spine remains strong with all text cleary legible. The vinyl has been professionally cleaned & appears in VG-/VG condition. There are some spindle marks by the centre hole, as well there might be for such a classic release, there are some noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Thanks to the quality of sixties vinyl, playback is much higher than our initial visual grading.
JAMES LAST Best No. 2 (1975 Japanese-only 14-track 'Sal 74 System Sound Revolution' LP compilation, housed in a unique picture sleeve complete with the obi-strip [tiny date annotation on back of obi]. The packaging shows little of its age or origin & the vinyl appears Near Mint MP2420)
