Tracklisting: Private Dancer is the breakthrough solo album from Tina Turner, one of the world's most loved singers and performers. Originally released in June 1984, Private Dancer features hits from the eight time Grammy-winning artist including "What's Love Got to Do With It," "Better Be Good To Me," "Private Dancer," and "Let's Stay Together."
The most dynamic female soul singer in the history of the music, Tina Turner oozed sexuality from every pore in a performing career that began the moment she stepped on stage as lead singer of the Ike & Tina Turner Revue in the late '50s. Her gritty and growling performances beat down doors everywhere, looking back to the double-barreled attack of gospel fervor and sexual abandon that had originally formed soul in the early '50s. including the extremely rare Hapshash psychedelic poster, fully
laminated picture sleeve with original sticker(s) on the reverse panel.
The sleeve shows moderate creasing with a 1cm tear tothe laminate
on the opening edge with all text clearly legible and otherwise in good
shape, the rear panel sports two 'Free Psychedelic Poster Inside'
stickers, one of which has the previous owners name written in biro
and is none other thanAndy Bown ex-The Herd and
long-standing Status Quo member! The vinyl has light scuffs &
hairlines in places with spindle wear to the label and also grades Very
Good. The poster is a genuine 'Osiris Visions Ltd' copy [not a repress]
and is unused with NO pin-holes or other signs of adhesive; there is a
little natural creasing in places but otherwise few signs of wear - a
really pleasing one-previous-owner example of this glorious piece of
Swinging Sixites pop-art.)
