A FEW OF THE MOST RECENT ITEMS WE WANT...
 | EARTH WIND & FIRE That's The Way Of The World (1984 US
8-track LP. One of the great funk albums gets the Mobile
Fidelity treatment, all-analogue super high definition,
half-speed mastered, semi-translucent vinyl [visible when
held to a light].George Massenberg’s recording is clean,
punchy and full of low-downbass goodness. Kevin Gray and
Robert Pincus needed to do little to the stellar Sony vaulted
master tapes and with RTI’s meticulous pressing and strict
quality control, this is #Top 500 Greatest Albums of All Timethe ultimate expression of a seminal
funk record. The gatefold picture sleeve shows very little
wear for its age and the vinyl remains in near mint condition
with no obvious signs of wear or play)
Tracklisting: Multi-platinum seller That’s the Way of the World is as popular as it is relevant; a tightly focused, socially conscience “message” piece that you can dance to. It’s simply one of the great funk albums, bouyed by three huge radio hits: “Shining Star,” “Reasons” and the title track. Says Rolling Stone: “Earth, Wind and Fire’s sixth album is make out music of the gods.”
"Earth, Wind & Fire has delivered more than its share of excellent albums, but if a person could own only one EWF release, the logical choice would be That's the Way of the World, which was the band's best album as well as its best-selling. Open Our Eyes had been a major hit and sold over half a million units, but it was World that established EWF as major-league, multi-platinum superstars. Fueled by gems ranging from the sweaty funk of 'Shining Star' and 'Yearnin' Learnin' to the gorgeous ballad 'Reasons' and the unforgettable title song, EWF's sixth album sold at least five million units. And some of the tracks that weren't major hits, such as the exuberant 'Happy Feelin' and the gospel-influenced 'See the Light,' are equally powerful. There are no dull moments on World, one of the strongest albums of the 1970s and EWF's crowning achievement." — All Music Guide

Tracklisting: The legendary 1994 movie The Shawshank Redemption was written and directed by Frank Darabont, based on a 1982 novella by Stephen King. The movie tells the story of two convicts who, over the course of several years, form a friendship, seeking consolation and, eventually, redemption through basic compassion.
Upon its release, The Shawshank Redemption was nominated for seven Academy Awards and two Golden Globe Awards. By now, the film has become one of the most beloved movies ever made, has held the number one best film spot on IMDb since 2008, and was voted in 2011 by BBC Radio 1 listeners as their favorite movie of all time.
Its score was composed by multiple award winner Thomas Newman. The score was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Original Score in 1994, which was Newman's first Oscar nomination. A central scene in the film features the soprano "Letter Duet" ("Canzonetta sull'aria") from Mozart's "The Marriage of Figaro", which is included on the soundtrack. The set also includes the original songs "Lovesick Blues" by Hank Williams and "If I Didn't Care" by The Inkspots.
