1970 7-track vinyl LP on the 'spaceship' Vertigo label, matt
gatefold picture sleeve. The sleeve shows moderate general
wear with a small point of paper loss to the top right corner
and the vinyl is Excellent with little sign of play VO6) #Top 500 Greatest Albums Of All Time
Tracklisting: The spaceship label variants were only produced for a very limited time due to Sabbath falling out with Vertigo and moving to the newly formed WWA label in late 1973. The production run was halted and they were reissued with WWA labels instead although with the Vertigo matrices.

Tracklisting: The labels are matt finish with Parlophone logo in bold yellow. The perimeter print has 'The Gramophone Co' text with 'Sold In The UK' text across the centre of the label.
The matrix numbers are XEX 549-2 & XEX 550-2
The Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve has the small outline mono logo on the front and 'Patents Pending' credit on the back bottom flipback.
Complete with correct period 'Emitex' inner.
Condition:
The sleeve colours are rich & bright with light signs of being over fifty years old including the odd faint crease & some light natural age yellowing and some shows a small pen mark on the reverse.
The labels are clean and bright with notable spindle marks around the centre hole. The heavyweight vinyl, while obviously played, has retained its bright shine and remains in VG condition with a few light cosmetic surface scuffs & the odd hairline visible which won't effect play.
A very acceptable copy of this classic Fabs LP at an advantageous price.
