A FEW OF THE MOST RECENT ITEMS WE WANT...
 | THE BEATLES Revolver (1966 UK third press 14-track stereo
vinyl LP, housed in its G&L front laminated flipback picture
sleeve with Emitex inner. A noted discrepancy is that the label
is printed 'DOCTOR ROBERT', where the sleeve lists 'DR.
ROBERT', as opposed to later pressings which credit 'DOCTOR'
on both PCS7009) See 'more info' for further details ... #Top 500 Greatest Albums Of All Time

Labels:
They are of the classic sixties black with yellow 'Parlophone' & logo design, all text in silver. The labels have "The Gramophone Co Ltd" perimeter text & "Sold In The UK" text across the centre of the label. The labels are in highly respectable condition without damage around the spindle hole. The text is bright and clearly legible. There is an amount of spindle marking around the centre hole, overall indicating average but not excessive play.
The labels credit the composer AFTER the lead vocalist, indicating third press vinyl. The sleeves were the same between first & third presses and lists the composer before the lead vocalist.
Track 4, side 2 is spelt Doctor Robert.
Condition:
The sleeve remains a superb off white with no writing or tears. Over time, the odd faint crease is revealed but otherwise the condition is a superb VG+. The vinyl is clean & grades VG+ with just a few minor paper hairline scuffs not affecting play. A great example. |
