JOY DIVISION In The Studio With Martin Hannett (2008 UK limited edition 21-track 2-LP set pressed on 180gram VIRGIN VINYL - This collection offers previously unreleased recordings and outtakes, primarily taken from 1978 & '79 sessions at Cargo Studios in Rochdale - Hannett had a habit of running ¼" tape machines throughout all Joy Division recording sessions & continually remixed what he had recorded on those tapes, feeding signals through his AMS delays and playing around withsynthesisers. It is Martin's use of these weird & wonderful effects and sounds on Joy Division recordings that made them stand out above any other band from that time! Presented in rare un-numbered sealed gatefold sleeve - 1000 copies were produced in individually numbered sleeves, so this anomaly seems to have slipped through the net!)
