THE GILES BROTHERS 1962 - 1967 (2009 issue UK digitally
remastered CD album containing 24 tracks taken from the personal
archives of Peter and Mike Giles and as such are an interesting look
into a period of time during the Giles brother's careersthat has
previously been less than well documented. The Giles Brothers are
famous for being founders of the band Giles Giles and Fripp, which
eventually metamorphosed into King Crimson, one of the giants of
Progressive rock and whilst this material isquite unlike anything the
Giles brothers were subsequently involved in, these recordings are of
a historic nature and as individual singles all the tracks are incredibly
collectable!)

GILES, GILES & FRIPP A Selection From The Brondesbury
Tapes (Drawn from the historic 1968 home demo sessions at
93a Brondesbury Road, A Selection From The Brondesbury
Tapes captures the raw creative spirit of Giles, Giles
& Frippat a key transitional moment - just before the
formation of King Crimson. Remastered in 2025 by
David Singleton and significantly enhanced sonically, this
newly curated collection presents 13 of the best-preserved
recordings from thosesessions, pressed on 200-gram
super heavyweight vinyl. These home-recorded tapes
offer a rare glimpse into Robert Fripp's early compositional
style and the evolving chemistry between the trio - Peter
Giles, Michael Giles, and Fripp - joined here by guest
appearances from Judy Dyble (ex-Fairport Convention) and a
then-unknown Ian McDonald, who would go on to co-found
King Crimson. Two distinct versions of "I Talk to the Wind"
appear-one sung by Peter Giles, the other by Judy
Dyble-while other highlights include early forms of material
later reimagined for Islands and In the Wake of Poseidon.

GILES, GILES & FRIPP The Cheerful Insanity Of Giles, Giles &
Fripp | The Songs (A long-overdue reappraisal of this cult
1968 Decca debut, The Cheerful Insanity of Giles, Giles &
Fripp now appears for the first time in a standalone
songs-only edition, remastered in 2025 to remove the
spoken word segments and present the material as a
continuous musical statement. The result is a delightfully
eccentric blend of late-'60s British psychedelia, baroque pop,
and folk whimsy, spotlighting early guitar work from a
pre-King Crimson Robert Fripp. Remastered for CD by Alex
R. Mundy at DGM, this edition restores the album's
musical flow while adding 6 bonus tracks, including
several featuring future Crimson member Ian McDonald.
Quirky, melodic, and oddly beautiful, this version allows the
songs to shine on their own terms, revealing a hidden gem of
the psychedelic era. Jewel case with booklet insert, factory
sealed)

GILES, GILES & FRIPP The Cheerful Insanity Of Giles, Giles &
Fripp | The Songs (Available for the first time as a
standalone, song-only release, The Cheerful
Insanity of Giles, Giles & Fripp receives a thoughtful
2025 remaster by David Singleton - stripped of its
original spoken word interludes to focus solely on the musical
content. Originally issued in 1968 on Decca, this cult classic
marks the early collaboration between Peter Giles, Michael
Giles, and a young Robert Fripp - blending British psychedelia,
baroque pop, and whimsical humour into a curious but
rewarding listening experience. Cut by Jason Mitchell at Loud
Mastering and pressed on 200-gram superheavyweight
vinyl, this new edition restores the album's rich
harmonies, melodic invention, and Fripp's exquisite guitar
textures to their fullest sonic potential. It's an ideal entry
point for collectors interested in the pre-King Crimson roots of
one of progressive rock's most influential guitarists. Picture
sleeve with hype sticker, factory sealed)
