PINK FLOYD A Saucerful Of Secrets (Rare Archive Quality 1969 silver & black Columbia label second issue of the 1968 7-track STEREO vinyl LP, front laminated flipback picture sleeve. The labels have 'The Gramophone Co Ltd' text around the rim and ONE 'boxed' EMI logo which was only used in 1969 before the introduction of the 'two box' label in 1970. The front laminated picture sleeve is in spectacular condition, with only a couple of light creases to the laminate, the flipbacks are intact and the non-laminated back remains extremely clean with minimal signs of wear or age, and includes the correct period advertising inner, which also shows minimal signs of age. Both sides of the label have a large red & gold Odeon label attached above the spindle hole, as this extremely rare example was made by EMI Records for export out of the U.K. They were specifically sold in South America (Argentina, Brazil) where Odeon Records were distributed, prior to thesecountries making their own records. They also barely ever appear for sale online! The Hipgnosis designed cover has a slightly smaller custom red & gold Odeon label attached over the EMI logo on the back.
