| THE BEATLES With The Beatles (1963 UK first issue 14-track
mono LP with 'The Parlophone Co' perimeter text & 'Recording
first Published' but without 'Sold In The UK' & 'Jobete' credit
for Money, G&L front laminated flipback picture sleeve with
'Patents Pending' text on the bottom flipback & the 'Gotta'
misprint on the back, confirming a first pressing PMC1206)
See 'more info' for further details on condition ...
Tracklisting: The labels are the classic black & yellow Parlophone design, they have medium spindle wear & clear bright silver text.
They have "The Parlophone Co Ltd" text around the perimeter & "Recording First Published 1963" at 9 o'clock, but do not have "Sold in the UK" text.
On side two, 'Money' is credited to 'Jobete Mus.' where later pressings have 'Dominion Belinda' credit. All indicators of a first pressing.
Complete with "use Emitex" poly lined inner.
The vinyl shows several distinct surface marks, Side 2 showing a few more however on play testing these do not interfere with play although some background noise is evident at times along with the odd click.
The Garrod & Lofthouse front laminated flipback picture sleeve is in nice condition (VG) with yellowing to the unlaminated panel and scuffing to the edges. The flipbacks show light wear and are secure. There is a split to the top of the sleeve and a slamml ip near the opening on the front side.
This first G&L sleeve has the large block 'mono' on the front & the 'Gotta' misprint on the back, along with 'Patents Pending' text on the bottom flipback.
A surprisingly nice condition copy of this first pressing which, although by no means mint can be yours for an extremely advantageous price!
