 | THE UPSETTERS Clint Eastwood (Very rare 1970 UK 12-track
Mono vinyl LP, front laminated picture sleeve. Continuing
Perry's spaghetti western theme this collection brought
together a bunch of super obscure '45s released throught '69.
It's a brilliantly varied set, ranging from organ-led groovers
beloved of the UK skinhead crowd, deep reggae/soul [Dave
Barker's Prisoner Of Love is a highlight], toasting cuts from
U-Roy and the Reggae Boys not forgetting plenty of wayward
echo-laden production trickery from the great man
throughout - Essential. The sleeve is Very Good with some
light laminate rippling with creasing/ringwear to the edges;
the vinyl is also graded Very Good, with light hairlines
throughout and maybe some background crackles throughout
the quieter passages. This is the only the second copy we've
seen of this top UK reggae rarity. A Must! PSP1014)
