A FEW OF THE MOST RECENT ITEMS WE WANT...
| PINK FLOYD The Dark Side Of The Moon (Ultra rare 1973 UK first
pressing 10-track vinyl LP with SOLID PRISM labels with
silver lettering, Gramophone Co. perimeter text, black inner, two
stickers & two posters. This has A2/B2 matrices andDOES NOT have
the well known skip during the song Money. This gatefold picture
sleeve differs from later issues in that it displays a slight green colour
tinge unlike the jet black print of later issues SHVL804) Please
see Tracklisting/Additi #Top 500 Greatest Albums Of All Timeonal Information for more details....
Tracklisting: Condition
The sleeve is one of three different first issue variants. This is the example where the left opening of the gatefold cover with a fold over flap that is glued inside the opening. "Printed and made by Garrod and Lofthouse Ltd." in blue text appears in the inside lower left corner.
The sleeve is in really nice shape with just a little faint wear, easily achieving an Excellent grading.
The inner sleeve is a die-cut black inner with patent numbers and "Made in Great Britain" in silver at the bottom. The posters both remain unused and are still white. The self-adhesive stickers (with red 'PERMANENT' to back) both remains unusued like the posters, with no catalog number printed.
The vinyl too is in Excellent condition with just a little light wear evident upon very close inspection which has no impact on play. Side 1 shows a tiny mark but show minimal spindle wear indicating very little play.
There is NO 'skip' during the track 'Money', which is a common fault for this otherwise superb TAS listed audiophile quality original.
This an Excellent first pressing of their masterpiece & now very sought after. These first issues do not come up for sale often, certainly not as often as we'd like and definitely not in this condition!
