A FEW OF THE MOST RECENT ITEMS WE WANT...
| SCREAMING TREES Dust (Rare original 1996 UK/EU 10-track
vinyl LP pressed in Holland, the group's seventh studio album,
featuring Mark Lanegan and includes the singles All I Know
and Sworn and Broken, housed in a hype stickered picture
sleeve with credits printed inner. The sleeve displays just a
little light age wear, and the inner has some spots or foxing,
whilst the vinyl shows only very light signs of play. A really
nice example and the first we have ever seen)

| ROLLING STONES The Rolling Stones (Mid Sixties [1965-68] UK
pressing of the 1964 12-track mono vinyl LP on the red
'unboxed' Decca logo label, front laminated picture sleeve. This
copy remains in very nice condition and, although not mint,
remains very acceptable indeed and should not be overlooked
LK4605) See 'More Info' for further details on condition ...
Tracklisting: Condition:
The sleeve is a MacNeil printed, front laminated pinched spine design.
This is actually the third sleeve design as it has corrected song titles and credits and the 'MONO' logo has been re-instated. The second sleeve design actually forgot the 'Mono' logo.
The laminate is still clear & bright with the spine clearly readable. There are some minor laminate creases at the spine but nothing more than you would expect.
General shelfwear remains at a minimum and the unlaminated back shows just a few signs of handling and a little age yellowing, there is also the past owners handwritten annotation timings next to the tracklisting.
Not miint, but none too shabby either.
The labels are the sixth design, with corrected song titles and publisher information, K/T printed tax code, stacked 'N.C.B.' & 'BIEM' credits & publishing date of 1964 to the left of the label. Later presses had this moved to the bottom of the label.
This design has also re-instated the 'The Decca Record Co Ltd' at the top of the label.
The vinyl has obviously been well played but well looked after. There are spindlemarks evident around the centre hole, but just a few light surface hairlines to be seen across the vinyl.
Given the solid sixties pressing, this has very little effect on sound quality at all.
A very acceptable copy of this pressing at an advantageous price.

13-track mono vinyl LP with 'Sold In The UK', 'Recording First
Published' & 'Parlophone Co' label text, complete with
'Emitex' inner, Garrod & Lofthouse front laminated flipback
sleeve with mid sized 'mono' logo on the front & rounded
ended flipbacks PMC1230) See 'More Info' for further
details ... #Top 500 Greatest Albums Of All Time
Tracklisting: Condition:
The Garrod & Lofthouse front laminated flipback picture sleeve retains a glorious clean laminate & with few signs of its fifty years. The panels are exceptionally clean & off white. The flipbacks are secure & the sleeve is complete with the original Emitex inner. There is the smallest glimpse of ringwear to the unlaminated back, with a little scuffing evident at the bottom corner tip/edge. Pretty much as nice as it gets.
The labels are black and yellow Parlophone with 'Sold In The UK', 'Recording First Published' and 'The Parlophone Co' text.
The matrix numbers in the run-outs are:
Side 1 XEX 481-3N
Side 2 XEX 482-3N
The labels are clean with no sign of splindle wear.
The vinyl remains near 'as new' with a deep sheen both sides with just a couple of faint scuffs most likely from removing the record from the inner. This copy has obviously been looked after very carefully indeed.

| ELTON JOHN Elton John (1970 UK 10-track LP pressed on
Translucent Purple
Vinyl only visible when held up to a strong light
source, textured gatefold picture sleeve with lyrics across the
inner spread. The cause of the different colour tint was due to
record companies reusing/recycling materials when the oil
crisis happened, you will find there are three or different
variants with the earlier pressing usually showing a colour
tint & later issuesbeing pureblack. The sleeve shows minimal
wear and the vinyl appears barely played DJLPS406)
