A FEW OF THE MOST RECENT ITEMS WE WANT...

MILES DAVIS In Person - Friday And Saturday Nights At The Blackhawk, San Francisco (2025 Japanese exclusive 'Jazz Analog Legendary Collection' limited edition 12-track stereo Double Album 2-LP set pressed on 180gram BlueTranslucent Vinyl, originally released in 1961. Recorded in 1961 at The Blackhawk, San Francisco, in its review TheNew York Times indicated that the set was "the gold standard for straight-ahead, postwar jazz rhythm". Housedin a gatefold picture sleeve replicating the original release, with Japanese insert and 'Jazz Analog Legendary Collection' obi-strip still in the resealable bag with hype sticker attached. Please note, this remains in a brand-new condition, we have removed the vinyl from the sleeve to protect it from damage, mint and unplayed!)

Tracklisting: Miles Davis’s two-night stand at The Blackhawk in San Francisco marked a watershed in jazz history, a seminal event transforming the American musical landscape. Davis had never been recorded live in a club with his combo and the performances over the course of two sets a night on April 21 and 22, 1961 more than justify the legend. The New York Times, in its review of the Columbia Records release of the complete Blackhawk shows, called the music “the gold standard for straight-ahead, postwar jazz rhythm.” Side A 1. Walkin’ 2. Bye Bye Blackbird Side B 1. All Of You 2. No Blues 3. Bye Bye (Theme) 4. Love, I’ve Found You Side C 1. Well You Needn’t 2. Fran-Dance 3. So What Side D 1. Oleo 2. If I Were A Bell 3. Neo
MANIC STREET PREACHERS Critical Thinking (2025 UK/EU limited edition 12-track LP pressed on heavyweight Black Vinyl - Critical Thinking celebrates conflicting ideas colliding, with unflinchingly soul-searching lyrics meeting some of themost head-on, addictive melodies the band have ever recorded. Complete with printed inner, the picture sleeve is factory sealed with its hype sticker. Additionally, this copy comes accompanied by a 12" x 12" artwork print which has been autographed by James, Nicky and Sean!)

Tracklisting: Manic Street Preachers’ Nicky Wire on Critical Thinking: “This is a record of opposites colliding - of dialectics trying to find a path of resolution. While the music has an effervescence and an elegiac uplift, most of the words deal with the cold analysis of the self, the exception being the three lyrics by James (Dean Bradfield) which look for and hopefully find answers in people, their memories, language and beliefs. The music is energised and at times euphoric. Recording could sometimes be sporadic and isolated, at other times we played live in a band setting, again the opposites making sense with each other. There are crises at the heart of these songs. They are microcosms of skepticism and suspicion, the drive to the internal seems inevitable - start with yourself, maybe the rest will follow.” Speaking to Mojo Magazine, James Dean Bradfield said “Sometimes just to have your best songs is enough, just putting a record out and not trying to describe a big overarching concept, even though there is a thread there.” Side A 1. Critical Thinking 2. Decline & Fall 3. Brushstrokes of Reunion 4. Hiding In Plain Sight 5. People Ruin Paintings 6. Dear Stephen Side B 7. Being Baptised 8. My Brave Friend 9. Out Of Time Revival 10. Deleted Scenes 11. Late Day Peaks 12. OneManMilitia
MEGADETH Killing Is My Business... and Business Is Good! (Original 1985 UK Music For Nations issue 8-track vinyl LP, with picture sleeve and lyric inner. The debut studio album by American heavy metal band. Includes their version of Nancy Sinatra's 'These Boots' with altered lyrics, the song sparked controversy in later years when the original author, Lee Hazlewood, deemed Mustaine's changes to be vile and offensive, demanding that it was removed from the album. Under threat of legal action, the song was removed from all pressings released after 1995. The sleeve sleeve displays some general wear mostly to the edges, the inner shows some foxing and a slight split, whilst the vinyl has only a few light signs of play, overall an excellent example MFN46)

Tracklisting: Side One: 1. Last Rites / Loved To Death 4:38 2. Killing Is My Business... And Business Is Good! 3:02 3. Skull Beneath The Skin 3:42 4. These Boots 3:39 Side Two: 5. Rattlehead 3:39 6. Chosen Ones 2:50 7. Looking Down The Cross 4:58 8. Mechanix 4:20

#Top 500 Greatest Albums Of All Time

Tracklisting: Condition The sleeve for this copy has survived the sixties and still holds up superbly. There is a little edge scuffing and a bit of corner wear with a few small creases at the spine. The laminate itself shows only light ageing & the colours remain rich & vivid on all panels, with all text legible and the internal matt pages look nice & clean. The numbered booklet has become seperated and shows only light signs of age/discolouration & completes the package. The labels have some spindle marks to show the discs have been played & the vinyl is generally clean across all four sides with only light signs of play on the actual vinyl itself with just a few minor cosmetic surface scuffs or hairlines, (one hairline through 'Welcome') otherwise remaining in very decent VG+/EX- type condition. Although not mint this is still a fantastic example of this hard to find original pressing & now much in demand. All in Very Good order for its age - overall a nice copy of this rare classic original press. Tracklisting 01. Overture 02. It's A Boy 03. 1921 04. Amazing Journey 05. Sparks 06. Eyesight To The Blind (The Hawker) 07. Christmas 08. Cousin Kevin 09. Acid Queen 10. Underture 11. Do You Think It's Alright 12. Fiddle About 13. Pinball Wizard 14. There's A Doctor 15.
