DAVID BOWIE Metrobolist (2020 UK/EU limited edition 9-track LP pressed on 180gram Heavyweight White Vinyl, individually hand-numbered on the red centre label - Originally released in 1970 with a last minute name change to 'The Man Who Sold The World', this 50th Anniversary edition of Bowie's third studio album displays its original 'Metrobolist' moniker and has been remixed by original producer Tony Visconti, with the exception of the track 'After All' which Tony consideredperfect as is. The vinyl is brand new unplayed, housed in a gatefold picture sleeve with 'new' artwork created by Mike Weller who was behind the historically controversial 'dress' cover. The shrink has been opened along one edge to confirm the colour of the record inside but remains fully intact with its circular gold hype sticker)
STACEY KENT Breakfast On The Morning Tram (Pure Pleasure Analogue limited edition 12-track double album 2-LP pressed on 180-gram vinyl, mastered by Curtis Schwartz. High quality gatefold picture sleeve with hype sticker, factory sealed. Highly recommended)

Tracklisting: "This vinyl remastering of Breakfast On The Morning Train is a perfect vehicle for Kent and her silky voice. Despite the higher pitch, there is great richness and texture. The guitars (both acoustic and electric) have a fuller resonance and complexity. As usual, the glossy packaging and gatefold cover are first-rate." — Audiophile Audition, Aug. 5, 2012 Vocalist Stacey Kent delivers a charming mix of standards, pop covers, French chansons, and original songs on Breakfast on the Morning Tram. The album was produced by Kent's husband, tenor saxophonist Jim Tomlinson, whose album, The Lyric, featured Kent's vocals and won Best Album at the 2006 BBC Jazz Awards. Breakfast on the Morning Tram marked Kent's return to the studio after a four-year recording hiatus, and inspired the album's title, referring to the start of something new; a journey in a new direction. It is also the name of one of four new original songs — the first originals that Kent has ever recorded — written especially for her by Tomlinson and acclaimed author Kazuo Ishiguro, winner of the Booker and Whitbread prizes for such literary works as "The Remains of the Day" and "Never Let Me Go." Side A 1. The ice hotel 2. Landslide 3. Ces petits riens Side B 1. I wish I could go travelling again 2. So many stars 3. Samba Saravah Side C 1. Breakfast on the morning tram 2. Never let me go 3. So romantic Side D 1. Hard hearted Hannah 2. La saison des pluies 3. What a wonderful world ...
