This copy is housed in the original smooth card picture sleeve printed by the E.J. Day Group with an 'i' logo and Basing Street address printed by the bottom edge on the reverse. The sleeve shows moderate ringwear and spots of discolouration leaving it a low Excellent/high Very Good
The matrix numbers are machine stamped into the 'dead wax' areas:
ILPS 9134 A-1U
ILPS 9134 B-1U
The labels are clean with no discernable spindle wear. The design of the labels on this 1972 issue are slightly different from the original in that the timings of the songs are bracketed and the publishing date is now followed by 'Island Records Ltd' text.
The vinyl is graded as Near Mint with just one very faint hairline scuff, most likely sustained from removal from the inner; certainly there is enough doubt as to if this copy has been played or not.
A stunning copy of this highly sought after pressing. Would make a great investment or addition to any serious collection! |
