 | IRON MAIDEN The First Ten Years 1980-1990 (1990 UK
limited edition box set, comprising the TEN
double pack 12"s, a total of 63 tracks. Released between 24th
February and 28th April 1990, in commemoration of the
band's ten year recording anniversary, each double 12"
contains two singles, complete with original B-sides and
artwork, as well as an edition of 'Listen with Nicko'. This
wonderous collection is housed in a 12¾" x 12¾" x 3"
mail-order only card picture box, whichwas only available by
sending the ten vouchers from the singles. The box has some
mild general wear and has a split to the bottom right corner in
the lid. The content remains in a really nice condition, the
sleeves have little wear and light foxing and the vinyl has
minimal signs of play)

pressing 8-track LP on the plum & red label with the printing
errors corrected by the careful placement of two stickers,
returning the 'LED ZEPPELIN' name to the top of the label &
over stickering the 'Executive Producer: Peter Grant' credit
that Jimmy Page didn't approve of, as well as adding the
missing 'Superhype' publishing credit, gatefold picture sleeve
with inner lyric sleeve. The lyric inner is also flipback, unlike
late
#Top 500 Greatest Albums Of All Timer issues. The classic gatefold picture sleeve shows
obvious shelf/edgewear with small areas of paper loss to
front/back and the inner has splits along the edges with
evidence of tape repair. Both outer/inner sleeve and label
show small stickers from a previous owner. The vinyl is
graded in Good condition - with obvious scuffs/hairlines
throughout to show for its fifty-plus years. Some background
noise can be detected throughout the quieter passages. Not
Mint - but a decent play copy of this incredibly rare first label
edition)
